8th Day of Italian Researchers in the World
“The Italian National Research Centre on HPC, Big Data and Quantum Computing meets the Dutch scientific and entrepreneurial communities”
The Embassy of Italy in The Hague, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute, is pleased to present the 8th edition of the Day of Italian Researchers in the World—an international event dedicated to fostering dialogue between the Italian and Dutch scientific and entrepreneurial communities.
The 2025 edition, titled “The Italian National Research Centre on HPC, Big Data and Quantum Computing meets the Dutch scientific and entrepreneurial communities”, will feature the participation of leading research institutions, universities, and startups, with the aim of exploring the frontiers of scientific innovation in the fields of High Performance Computing (HPC), Big Data, and Quantum Computing.
The event will open with institutional greetings from H.E. the Ambassador of Italy to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Augusto Massari, and Antonio Zoccoli, President of the Italian National Research Centre for HPC, Big Data, and Quantum Computing (ICSC), followed by keynote speeches from prominent Italian and Dutch experts. The program will continue with thematic sessions focused on research applications in quantum technologies, artificial intelligence, and collaborative digital infrastructures, while also offering networking opportunities for academic institutions, research centers, and industry stakeholders.
Special attention will be given to the Italian and Dutch startup ecosystems, with a dedicated pitch session where selected companies will present their innovative projects and technological solutions.
The event will be held in English.
This event represents a valuable opportunity to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fields of scientific and technological research and to promote new synergies between Italy and the Netherlands.
