“Opportunities and Prospects in Architecture between Italy and the Netherlands”

On the occasion of the finissage of the exhibition “The 20 Industrial Architectures”, the Modena Architects Foundation is organizing a roundtable, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Amsterdam dedicated to the exchange between Italy and the Netherlands on the perspectives of contemporary architecture.
The discussion will be an opportunity to explore shared challenges and opportunities between the two countries, with particular focus on urban regeneration, the transformation of industrial spaces, and new workplaces. Architects, scholars, and professionals will share insights on possible future directions and the role of architecture as a tool for cultural and social innovation.
This event symbolically concludes the exhibition, creating an ideal bridge between Italian and Dutch experiences.

Ter gelegenheid van de finissage van de tentoonstelling “The 20 Industrial Architectures” organiseert de Stichting Architecten Modena, in samenwerking met het Italiaans Cultureel Instituut, een rondetafelgesprek gewijd aan de uitwisseling tussen Italië en Nederland over de perspectieven van de hedendaagse architectuur.
Het gesprek biedt de gelegenheid om gedeelde uitdagingen en kansen tussen beide landen te verkennen, met bijzondere aandacht voor stedelijke herontwikkeling, de transformatie van industriële ruimtes en nieuwe werkplekken.
Architecten, onderzoekers en professionals delen hun inzichten over mogelijke toekomstige richtingen en over de rol van architectuur als instrument voor culturele en sociale innovatie.
Dit evenement vormt de symbolische afsluiting van de tentoonstelling en creëert een brug tussen Italiaanse en Nederlandse ervaringen.
